Privacy policy

Northwest Environmental ("Northwest Environmental", "we") is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and our enquiry line. This policy sets out what we collect, why, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights. Questions: info@northwestenviromental.co.uk or 07770 015197.

Information we collect

Quote requests and calls

The quote form collects your name, telephone number, postcode and the service you need, with an optional email address and description. Phone enquiries may be noted in the same way. We use this information to respond, to survey and quote, and to carry out and record any work you instruct. The lawful basis is pre-contractual steps taken at your request, then performance of the contract.

Form submissions are relayed to us by email through a function hosted on Vercel. The page you submitted from and the time are recorded with the enquiry.

Site statistics

Google Analytics 4 is used to measure how the site is used. It loads only after you interact with a page or a few seconds after loading completes, and runs with analytics storage set to denied, so it does not place analytics cookies on your device under the current configuration. Reports are aggregate. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website.

Server logs

Our hosting provider keeps short-term technical logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.

Recipients

Information is shared only with the service providers that operate the website and deliver your enquiry (hosting and email). We do not sell personal information or share it for third-party marketing.

Retention

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Records of work completed, including treatment details, are retained for six years for warranty, insurance, regulatory and legal purposes.

Your rights

You may request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction or objection to processing. Contact info@northwestenviromental.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set. Should any feature requiring consent be introduced, a consent control will be added beforehand.

Updates

Changes to this policy will be published on this page with a revised date.
